Information system,types,methodology (week 5,6)
There are three main groups of information system TPS, MIS, AND DSS. and another kind of information system is ESS.
There are three levels of information system:
1.Low-level manager(TPS): Recorded for future action, capture and record the data, only cause supervisor, also known as DPS(data processing system), support day to day business system.
2.Middle manager( MIS): A tactical manger which relates with short term plan, a collection of data, people, procedures, database and drives that provides with the information system.It also summarize the data.
4.Top manager(EIS): executive support system, strategic manager who manage whole organization,use internal and external data sources,analysis whole data system,use only at the most senior management levels,gain direct access to information in a company,use human knowledge,artificial intelligence using here like robot, help user to solve any problem.
Besides that information system, there are also some information system, like..
And about methodology, we choose SDLC and the water fall model. the waterfall process flows from the top to the bottom.it follows the steps like..

- example of MIS is sales management system, here included that the system of our library is integrated management system.

- business information system
- marketing information system
- enterprise resource planning.
In this week we do an activity. here we choose one information system and one ISD(information system development methodologies). We choose MIS system for register department which is needed to manage the information system of our register department efficiently and effectively. It includes three resources like people, technology and information decision making. Our resister department can use this system, for people they can use staff and using technology and information decision making they can run their information management system.

- maintenance
for the requirement, our resister department will use outline like which kind of information will put as a whole. for the design they will put the order of topic, implementation they can put the information about new student and old student in a different way. For verification the result of all student and maintenance they can maintain the whole methodologies in a one view.
