IT and ICT (week 3,4)


IT: IT stands for information technology. It is a computer-based tool to support the information.    
     Information technology architecture:
  •  A high-level map or plan of the information assets in an organization.
  •   Integrates entire organization’s business needs for information, infrastructure, and applications.
Information technology infrastructure:
  •   IT components, IT services, and IT personnel that support an entire organization.
  •   IT components: computer hardware, software, and communications technologies.
  •   IT services: Data management, systems development, and security management.
  • ICT: Information and communications technology or information and communication technology, usually abbreviated as ICT.
